FreeFileSync is a free Open Source software that helps you synchronize files and synchronize folders for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It is designed to save your time setting up and running backup jobs while having nice visual feedback along the way.

FreeFileSync Portable

FreeFileSync supports portable installation onto USB memory sticks or external hard drives. For this purpose select installation type portable in the installer.

Note that this variant will not register the FreeFileSync file extensions and context menu options which allow to conveniently manage and start GUI or batch mode synchronizations with a few mouse clicks. Therefore local installation is recommended to get the full FreeFileSync functionality.
